About Us

We have a vision to be disciples (followers)  of Jesus who make disciples.

We seek to:
Love Jesus with everything we’ve got
Be there for each other, no matter the cost
Bring hope to our community

If this sounds good to you, we meet in the Deaf Cultural Centre at 10:30 on a Sunday and would love to see you there!

 Our Vision

We have a vision to be disciples (followers of Jesus)  who make disciples.        We seek to love Jesus with everything we’ve got, be there for each other,       no matter the cost and bring hope to our community.

Our Community

What we love about our church is that we are a varied group of individuals and families who might not have ever met or become such good friends if it wasn’t for being drawn together by our faith in God through Jesus.

We are a family, united in Christ, who loves each other deeply and has a genuine wish to see and to treat each other well.

What We Do

As a group of Spirit-led believers, we take our guidance from scriptures for example Acts 2:42-47. We do this through discovering what God has to say in the Bible together, friendship, timely acts of kindness, prayer and offers of practical help.

You will hear story after story of how we have been strengthened by Jesus through his church, when we weren’t enough on our own.

Who We Are

Senior Leadership

Andy and Emma Northcott

Andy and Emma Northcott

Andy and Emma live in Ladywood with their four children.

Andy was an RE teacher and uses that love of teaching in his preaching and teaching role at Church Alive. As an elder, he is passionate about Jesus Christ being the hope of the world, and bringing that message to people in our community. He has a desire to see people come to know God through genuine faith in Jesus Christ. He has found that reading God’s word with the help of God’s Spirit is life transforming, and longs to share that with others.

Emma works as a part time chaplain for a GP surgery and is actively involved in the Ladywood community.
