Youth Alive has been suspended until further notice.
Youth Alive is a youth club for 11-14 year olds living in Ladywood. A group of us from church meet together each Friday night during term time to serve the young people in our community. Some of club consists of structured time where we seek to teach the young people about Christianity. We look at bible stories, the life of Jesus, salvation, Gods desire for our lives and the way he desires us to live. We encourage our youth to seek prayer for their own loves and the lives of those around them, believing that God wants to demonstrate his power in their lives. The rest of club is free time where the pupils can interact with each other and the leaders through games, arts/crafts and sport. We desire not only to teach children about God but to demonstrate his love, grace and discipline also. Once a term or so we take the young people out on a social activity, in the future we are hoping to take them away on a residential.
