eople first begin to really make their faith their own or start to ask questions about what it is they believe.
At university, there are huge opportunities because it's a time when many fellow students are asking questions. Church Alive believes that students and young adults play a very important part in the church family and there are plenty of ways 
they can get involved in the life of the church.
For students who are miles from family, there's the chance to discover a new home from home and make friends in Birmingham. Mike and Pippa Rimmer who run the group open up their home for students to hang out and Mike explains their philosophy,
'I think that we just want to see students living out their faith and doing well so it's about helping them put down the spiritual foundations that will help them for their entire life.'
