Serving‘As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards to God’s varied grace.’
1 Peter 4:10

We believe that the Christian life is meant to be lived in relationship with others. We were made to be together. Serving God and serving each other should be a way of life for every believer.

Serving each other

We believe there is great joy in serving. Helping others, being generous with our time, our energy and our money to meet each other’s needs is a lifestyle we believe the New Testament teaches. And we believe that everyone has something to offer. So as a Church, we teach and practise serving. Everyone is encouraged to get involved, to play their part in the life of the Church and to look for ways to serve, help and encourage others.

Serving God

We believe that this is one way we can serve God Himself. When we look after each other and take responsibility for making sure things get done, we are a credit to Him. It is also very fulfilling to make a meaningful contribution to Church life because it’s what God intends.

‘For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself”.’ Galatians 5:13
